PAUL MITCHELL
As the Digital Art Director for John Paul Mitchell Systems, I assembled a team that planned and executed all of the brands’ social media and digital content in-house. Collaborating with designers, photographers, editors, hair stylists, models, influencers, makeup artists, and producers, I oversaw the creation of hundreds of pieces of content during the five-year period I built and ran the department.
I worked closely with cross-functional partners to make strategic design decisions throughout my creative process. Products, websites, social channels, ad campaigns and brand launches were supported with this in-studio content.
True to the brand, we consistently created a chic look and feel, from wardrobe to backgrounds. I focused on white shirts and blue jeans, and pops of bright colors mixed with black and white to strengthen the brand’s visual identity, while also experimenting with new content.
This role honed my problem-solving skills and supported my growth in a leadership role.
